Absolute pardon refers to a pardon through which an accused is completely released or excused from all their criminal wrongdoings and does not usually have to face any kind of punishment or penalty for their acts. An absolute pardon also completely restores the civil rights of the accused.
Absolute pardon is also known as an unconditional or full pardon. An example of absolute pardon is when a prisoner is pardoned and their future punishment is entirely waived.
