Rape Explained

The laws surrounding rape have changed over the years. Initially, for example, it was not illegal for a man to have sex with his wife against her will. Also, rape used to be defined as a man forcing a woman to have sex with him against her will. Both of these things have now changed. Now, a person can be convicted of rape if they force their partner to have sex with them against their will. Additionally, women can now be convicted of rape too.
