Definition of Whiplash

A whiplash is a sudden jolt that causes strain or injury on the neck. Whiplash occurs during accidents and is a cause cited in cases for personal damages relating to injuries such as personal vehicle injuries or sports related injuries. Not all whiplash cases can claim for personal damages as it has to do with who is liable for the whiplash happening. The movement has to be sudden and forceful to cause whiplash injuries.
