Constructive eviction is a term that refers to actions of a landlord taken against the tenant and which ensures that the tenant is not able to continue to live or use the premises. Constructive eviction is different from legal eviction.
Constructive eviction may include many actions like changing the locks of the door, restricting access to driveways, interrupting the supply of drinking water or electricity, making noises with an aim to disturb the tenant, yelling, etc.
