Title VII or the Title VII of Civil Rights Act (1964) is an act that aims to discourage and prevent the discrimination at the workplace based on issues like race, color, religion, national origin, sex (this may include pregnancy at times), genetic information, physical disability, and age.
Title VII is actually a federal law, and also prohibits negative actions against an employee who speaks against and helps someone (a victim) being at the receiving end of discriminating behavior or harassment.
